Where do you like to stay in NYC?
I like to stay at home! I’m in SoHo.

What’s your favorite Michael Kors piece in your closet?
A Steiff teddy bear fur duffel coat.

Describe it in three words.
Shaggy, snuggly, hilarious.

What are you carrying around in your bag during NYFW?
My makeup kit for the shows and some additional musts: things like ice chains for my boots—it’s slippery out there.

What’s your favorite thing about a Michael Kors show?
Michael and Lance and Joan.

Where will you head for lunch after the show? 
Maybe Les Halles on Park Avenue for lapin à la moutarde and a glass of Côtes du Rhône.

And dinner?
I’ll cook at home.

What do you never miss when in NYC?
Sleep.

Do you have any special plans for Valentine’s Day?
It’s a surprise...
